Achievement
We want all our children to feel a sense of achievement, regardless of age or aptitude. Our aim is for this sense of worth to extend past their schooling, so that children feel confident in setting their own challenges – at school and in their community – and work towards them.
Respect
We are aware of the differences between children and of the different rates at which they grow and develop. By acknowledging these differences, we hope to instill a sense of respect in our children – for themselves, for others and for property. We want tolerance, empathy and co-operation to be second nature to our children.
Care
We are aware of our responsibility of care to our children. The school has careful regard for the health and safety of all its children. We want to teach our children how to look after themselves and feel concern for the well-being of others. Most of all, we want our children to enjoy learning at Danesfield.
